About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform custom installations and establish functionality for complex radiotherapy and radiosurgery products
- Resolve product issues through detailed analysis and engineering expertise
- Update, service, and perform periodic preventative maintenance on radiotherapy equipment
- Communicate effectively with customers to troubleshoot complex problems and provide high-level service
- Instruct users in calibration checks, surveys, and equipment maintenance
- Read and interpret signal flow on blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Demonstrate and promote Oncology Solutions products and services at client meetings
Requirements
- B.S. in Biomedical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or IT Technology
- Demonstrated engineering experience with medical devices
- Expertise in hardware troubleshooting and proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters)
- Ability to travel up to 80%
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on ladders
- Ability to work safely in confined areas involving high voltage/high current modulators
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical linear accelerator or microwave RF systems
- Experience with computer networks
- Experience servicing robotics and/or electro-mechanical systems
