About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site consulting and technical guidance to physicians and Operating Room (OR) personnel to maximize product efficiency and usage.
- Manage and maintain the install base, including basic 3rd party integrations.
- Analyze and resolve product issues for Brainlab systems via Salesforce through detailed technical analysis.
- Educate and train hospital personnel, including OR staff, Radiology, and Biomedical staff, on Image Guided Surgery (IGS) products.
- Act as a primary customer liaison to assess satisfaction and drive product utilization.
- Collaborate with Application Consultants and Account Managers on market transparency, upgrades, and R&D projects.
- Support complex clinical cases and "Go Live" launches.
- Maintain detailed documentation of working hours and product certifications.
Requirements
- B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, or Nursing.
- 1-3 years of technical support experience, preferably within a healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC software applications.
- Ability to travel 50%+ during the first 6 months of employment.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to make independent decisions in clinical settings.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of healthcare sales experience.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and medical terminology.
