Biomedical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Travel to different regions to calibrate biomedical equipment in accordance with quality standards
• Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair complex biomedical equipment across multiple locations
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs promptly
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and technical staff to provide technical support
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and calibration activities
• Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment
• Train clinicians and other personnel on the proper use of biomedical equipment

Requirements

• Qualification in Biomedical engineering/technology
• Certified as a biomedical engineer from an accredited school or Diploma/associate degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Experience in multi-modality hospital-based employment, specifically ICU equipment
• OEM training on hospital equipment
• Fluency in English
• Excellent IT skills including use of electronic medical records systems
