Biomedical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site clinical evaluations to demonstrate product use and increase Digital OR usage
• Provide on-site consulting and problem-solving to physicians and OR personnel during surgery
• Lead installations and establish functionality at customer sites
• Educate and train hospital personnel, including OR staff, Radiology, and IT staff, on product usage
• Recommend product modifications to improve quality based on engineering expertise
• Act as primary customer liaison to assess satisfaction and identify sales leads for service contracts and upgrades
• Resolve product issues through detailed analysis
• Travel 50%+\n

Requirements

• B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, Nursing or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role for a healthcare company or provider preferred
• Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and medical terminology preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC software applications
• Ability to make independent decisions and work with high attention to detail
