Biomass & Digestate Specialist

Responsibilities

• Secure stable access to biomass resources, primarily manure and deep bedding
• Optimize the disposal and sale of digested biomass (digestate)
• Negotiate and enter into commercial agreements and contracts with farmers and suppliers
• Identify and develop new sourcing and disposal opportunities within assigned Danish regions
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships within the agricultural sector
• Represent Shell Biogas at industry events, trade fairs, and agricultural shows
• Analyze market trends and apply knowledge of agricultural regulations to business dialogues

Requirements

• Background as an Agronomist, Agricultural Technologist, Agricultural Economist, or similar
• Strong negotiation skills and a commercial mindset
• Ability to work independently, proactively, and in a structured manner
• Fluent in Danish (written and spoken) with proficiency in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing professional network within the Danish agricultural sector
• Experience in outbound sales or commercial relationship management
