Biology Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver inspirational and vocational biology education to secondary students
• Support an inclusive learning environment and raise academic standards for all students
• Implement effective teaching and learning methodologies, including the "Teach Like a GEM" pedagogy
• Contribute to the wider extracurricular life of the school to support well-rounded student development
• Work collaboratively within the Secondary Science team to maintain high departmental standards

Requirements

• Biology teaching specialism
• Proven experience working within a British Curriculum school
• Appropriate teaching degree
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Commitment to high standards and excellence in education

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching Biology at A-Level
