Biologist

Responsibilities

• Perform tissue culture based potency assays on live vaccine products, process intermediates, and related experimental samples
• Prepare solutions and culture media
• Maintain multiple cell lines
• Maintain records and test results following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Document work clearly and perform tests accurately
• Communicate effectively with client staff members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
• Experience with aseptic and cell culture techniques
• Proficiency in Excel, including using formulas and linking spreadsheets
• Strong organizational and scientific communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• At least six months of related laboratory experience
• Experience with ELISA and other cell-based assays
• Experience with pipettes and laboratory automation
• Demonstrated expertise with GXP compliance and technical writing (procedures and policies)
