About the role

Responsibilities

  • Analyze transcriptomic datasets, including bulk RNA-seq, RNA immunoprecipitation sequencing, and Long-reads RNA sequencing.
  • Assist with alternative splicing, isoform-level analysis, or RNA-binding protein-related datasets.
  • Perform pathway and enrichment analyses to support biological interpretation.
  • Generate organized summary tables, clear reports, and publication-quality figures.
  • Maintain organized scripts, analysis workflows, and documentation.
  • Communicate analysis plans, progress, results, and troubleshooting needs to the research team.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to data interpretation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training acquired via work experience or education.
  • Experience with RNA-seq or other transcriptomic datasets.
  • Proficiency in R and Python.
  • Proficiency in command-line analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization and generating publication-quality figures.
  • Ability to troubleshoot computational workflows independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of previous job-related experience in bioinformatics.
  • Ability to critically evaluate datasets and propose new analytical directions to extract biological insight.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
