Bioinformatician

Responsibilities

• Provide bioinformatics support for multi-omics analysis in a large and dynamic laboratory
• Support projects related to microbial detection and discovery
• Manage databases and research data
• Contribute to scientific publications and research grants
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the Center's mission

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, bioinformatics, or a related field
• At least four (4) years of related professional experience
• Equivalent combination of training and education

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in computer science, bioinformatics, or a related field
• At least 2 years of advanced research experience
• Knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques
