Biogas Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth for biomethane projects and renewable energy solutions by managing the full pipeline from prospecting to deal closure.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities for biogas purification solutions across agricultural, industrial, and waste management sectors.
• Conduct technical and economic analyses of customer needs to develop customized project proposals.
• Deliver technical and commercial presentations to clients, engineers, and senior stakeholders.
• Negotiate contracts, commercial terms, and technological specifications in coordination with legal and operations teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure technical viability and successful project delivery.
• Stay updated on market trends, regulations, and government incentives related to the biogas and renewable energy markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).
• 5+ years of experience in technical sales or project engineering, specifically within the biogas, water treatment, or renewable energy sectors.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong technical understanding of equipment and project sales processes.
• Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and productivity tools.
• Knowledge of project management or design software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, Revit, or SolidWorks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with biodigestion and sanitary landfills.
• Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Ability to perform preliminary technical dimensioning of solutions alongside engineering teams.
