Responsibilities

• Run molecular cloning and protein production end to end including PCR, assembly, transformation, expression, and purification
• Execute and improve QC on constructs and proteins using capillary electrophoresis, sequencing, and SDS-PAGE
• Optimize workflows to make them more reliable, faster, and better suited for automation
• Work hands-on with liquid handlers and lab automation tools
• Document data precisely to ensure results are reproducible and traceable
• Diagnose and fix failures across biology, reagents, and instruments

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning, transformation, and electrophoresis
• Background in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Science Engineering, or a related field
• Self-starter mindset with high standards for experimental rigor
• Interest in automation and software, with comfort in Python or liquid-handling automation being a plus
• AI-native approach to learning and working
