Biodiesel Operator, Loader

Responsibilities

• Verify product quality before shipment to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain a BQ-9000-compliant shipping and receiving system with accurate documentation
• Plan and schedule biodiesel load-out functions to meet customer demands efficiently
• Inspect and test the quality of incoming raw material shipments
• Perform load-out functions including preparing railcars and trucks for shipment
• Safely load products into railcars and trucks while monitoring quality indicators
• Manage inventory, purchase products as needed, and generate daily shipment reports
• Perform general facility maintenance and housekeeping at load-out facilities
• Follow all safety regulations and guidelines from OSHA and other regulatory agencies

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card after employment
• Basic computer, accounting, and organizational skills
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts (10-12 hours per shift)
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to distinguish colors and perform arithmetic applications

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in load-out or shipping and receiving operations
• Experience operating a forklift, boom lift, pallet jack, or rail switches
• Working knowledge of soy, cottonseed, or rapeseed oil and biodiesel processing
• Experience with tank gauging, inventory reconciliation, and tank sampling
• Knowledge of BQ-9000 requirements
• Forklift Operator Certificate
