Biochemical Manufacturing Tech

Responsibilities

• Formulate bulk reagents and perform in-process QC testing within a GMP environment
• Support production of reagents for various product lines including Pathology, Artisan, and CDx
• Manage batches within the Agilent ERP system, including opening, closing, and dispositioning
• Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials, WIP, and approved materials
• Perform reagent filtering, mixing, and transfer between production areas
• Handle hazardous and toxic materials and waste disposal in compliance with safety procedures
• Operate in-process quality control equipment such as pH meters, conductivity, and UV Vis instruments
• Adhere to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and internal quality standards
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and perform preventative maintenance on equipment

Requirements

• Higher education, specialized training/certification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience working within a GMP environment
• Ability to handle hazardous/toxic materials using powder hoods, fume hoods, and personal respirators
• Ability to work in controlled environments, including walk-in cold rooms (2-8C) and freezers (-20C)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
