Bioanalytical Scientist

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Bioanalytical Principal Investigator (BPI) providing technical guidance for sample analysis studies and method validations
• Manage bioanalytical laboratory projects in compliance with GLP and/or GCLP standards
• Plan and oversee individual experiments, ensuring necessary reagents, materials, and equipment are available
• Review study documentation, including data capture, logbooks, and inventory batch records
• Interpret, organize, and present study results and review analytical reports for completeness
• Provide technical guidance and training to bioanalytical testing staff
• Monitor material inventory and project-specific supplies to prevent study impediments
• Adhere to all laboratory safety policies and BSL-2 procedures

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on laboratory work experience
• Proven experience running immunoassays or ligand-binding assays
• Demonstrated experience with Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) techniques
• Required training and experience in GLP and/or GCLP environments
• Experience working in a high-complexity, high-throughput, or fast-paced laboratory setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline
• Postdoctoral or industrial experience
• Experience utilizing the MSD platform
• Experience working within a Clinical Research Organization (CRO) or other regulated environment
• Previous supervisory or management experience
