About the role

Responsibilities

  • Greet passengers with a professional and welcoming demeanor to create a positive first impression.
  • Collect samples of flight wastewater to assist the CDC in identifying and analyzing pathogens.
  • Engage with international travelers to encourage voluntary participation in pathogen detection and sequencing.
  • Collaborate with management and team members to maintain a cohesive work environment.
  • Adhere to strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards, including proper cleaning of the station area.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all participant information and comply with all station regulations.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced, demanding airport environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service or the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
  • High school diploma or GED.
