Bio-Security Specialist

Responsibilities

• Greet passengers with a professional and welcoming demeanor to create a positive first impression.
• Collect samples of flight wastewater to identify and analyze pathogens in partnership with the CDC.
• Engage with international travelers to encourage voluntary participation in pathogen detection and sequencing.
• Collaborate with management and team members to maintain a cohesive work environment.
• Adhere to strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards, including proper cleaning of the station area.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding participant information and comply with all station regulations.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of customer-facing experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in using computer systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in demanding airport environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• High school diploma or GED.
