Bio Packaging Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate biological packaging lines and PLC-controlled equipment
• Maintain accurate and concurrent documentation, including batch records and logbooks
• Set up, disassemble, and clean production equipment and facilities
• Follow all SOPs and cGMPs applicable to the manufacturing area
• Utilize material handling devices such as electric pallet jacks and hi-lifts
• Practice strict safety protocols, including lock-out/Tag-out and proper use of PPE
• Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors to ensure teamwork and process flow

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret complex written procedures
• Basic math skills, including the ability to apply the metric system to process calculations
• Basic mechanical skills and experience using various hand tools
• Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift 20-50 lbs
• Ability to work 3rd shift (Sunday – Thursday, 10:00pm – 6:30am)

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical school certificate or 1-2 years of college
• Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with vision systems and robotic fillers
• Proficiency with Windows-based personal computer applications
