Bindery Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and coordinate all areas of Bindery production to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
• Eliminate unsafe behaviors and conditions by supporting Safety Training Observation Program techniques.
• Maintain positive communication across all shifts and with internal/external customers regarding schedules and deliveries.
• Collaborate with management to create training materials and facilitate employee growth.
• Manage personnel matters including recommendations for hiring, promotions, and training.
• Determine appropriate manning for shifts to meet production and quality requirements.
• Implement Total Quality Program philosophies and lean methodologies to drive continual improvement.
• Maintain and monitor all necessary production records and documentation.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of Bindery experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role.
• Ability and willingness to work multiple shifts, including nights.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable field.
• 10 or more years of experience in a bindery department.
