Bindery Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate bindery equipment including stitcher, drill, padder, strapper, and shrink wrap machine
• Ensure quality and accuracy of printed products through proofreading and comparison to header sheets
• Build boxes, insert necessary flyers, and apply correct mailing labels
• Scan boxed orders into tracking systems (FedEx, UPS, or USPS)
• Prepare skids for shipment and coordinate with truck line brokers for LTL shipments
• Process international mail and required paperwork
• Maintain and restock workstation

Requirements

• Previous experience in warehouse, shipping, or logistics preferred
• Experience operating pallet jacks or forklifts
• Familiarity with quality control processes
• Strong proofreading and reading comprehension skills
• Proficiency with computers and shipping software
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and exert up to 100 lbs of force occasionally
• Ability to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift
