Bindery Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate bindery equipment to meet safety, quality, and production standards
• Setup machines according to job ticket specifications
• Refer to job tickets to ensure accuracy and locate important information
• Run equipment at target productivity metrics to complete jobs on time
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace to prevent accidents
• Perform finishing tasks including cutting, folding, die cutting, saddle stitching, drilling, padding, and scoring

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined
• Familiarity with basic mathematics including decimals and metric units
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Physical ability to bend, kneel, reach, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Previous bindery experience is preferred but not required
