About the role
Responsibilities
- Facilitate problem solving using technology and collaboration with internal and external project teams
- Coordinate workload for one or more projects with VDC Manager(s)
- Manage modeling efforts and deliverables to solve construction issues
- Track responsibilities and provide progress updates for the VDC coordination schedule
- Identify and resolve coordination conflicts using clash detection in Navisworks
- Lead clash resolution and coordination meetings to ensure completion of all items
- Produce accurate models using modeling best practices and company standards
- Conduct quality reviews of modeled scope and confirm compliance with contract documents
- Apply training concepts and lessons learned to facilitate project coordination
- Implement VDC services in accordance with standards and best practices
- Contribute to VDC goals and company initiatives
Requirements
- 0–4 years of BIM/VDC experience on commercial construction projects
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Computer Graphics, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent training and experience
- Willingness to relocate and travel
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and coordination tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment as well as independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and other applicable tools
- Understanding of contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules
- Basic understanding of the construction management process (RFIs, Submittals, Shop Drawings)

- Experience applying VDC best practices on large-scale projects
