BIM/Revit Designer - Industrial Buildings

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed multi-discipline project design deliverables using Revit, ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines.
• Build and maintain discipline-specific and multi-discipline BIM models for industrial buildings, including structural steel, concrete, architectural elements, equipment layouts, and MEP/utility systems.
• Generate plans, sections, details, isometrics, shop drawings, and quantity takeoffs to support estimating, design development, and field installation.
• Perform clash detection, model reviews, and coordination sessions using Navisworks to resolve conflicts early in the design process.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other designers within an integrated project team to achieve design goals.
• Perform rigorous quality assurance and control checks on all deliverables to adhere to company standards and industry best practices.
• Contribute to the enhancement of BIM/Revit processes, templates, and standards to optimize project workflows.

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelors degree in drafting/design, engineering technology, architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in BIM/Revit design, specifically within industrial, power, water, manufacturing, or similar sectors.
• Proficiency in Revit for creating detailed 3D models, floor plans, elevations, and sections.
• Proven experience using Navisworks for clash detection.
• Ability to interpret sketches, engineering drawings, P&IDs, equipment data sheets, and vendor models.
• Strong knowledge of industrial building components such as structural steel, concrete, and utility routing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) or design-build projects.
• Industry-specific experience in Power, Water, or Food & Beverage sectors.
• Experience developing and maintaining BIM standards, templates, and libraries.
