BIM Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update high Level of Development (LOD) BIM models for structural and architectural elements
• Perform rigorous clash detection and resolution using Navisworks to coordinate with various engineering disciplines
• Extract accurate material quantities, Bill of Materials (BOM), and detailed 2D construction drawings from 3D models
• Implement and enforce project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and internal modeling standards
• Conduct regular model reviews and coordinate with Site Engineers and Project Managers to ensure digital models reflect physical site conditions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related technical field
• Proven experience as a BIM Specialist, Modeler, or Coordinator in commercial or heavy industrial construction
• Exceptional proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
• Deep understanding of multidisciplinary construction processes, structural systems, and clash detection methodologies
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills for technical coordination meetings

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within the UAE
• Proficiency with Tekla Structures
