BIM Modeller - Electrical

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery and management of projects from technical design to construction stage
• Implement best practice and consistent processes across the project
• Ensure quality standards of all deliverables, including exchange information and conversion processes
• Utilize Bentley ProjectWise, OpenBuilding Designer, and MicroStation for 3D CAD model creation
• Use clash avoidance tools and coordinate models with discipline BIM leads
• Support the production of high-quality 3D CAD models and detailed construction drawings for railway station projects
• Produce model geometry and information in line with the Component Catalogue and BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
• Maintain the project's ProjectWise Common Data Environment
• Participate in quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and detail
• Work closely with other disciplines to ensure integrated and coordinated 3D CAD models

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a BIM Modeller in major infrastructure or transportation projects
• Experience working in an engineering production environment
• Proficiency with Bentley iTwin Design Review, ProjectWise, OpenBuilding Designer, and MicroStation
• Experience delivering projects to UK BIM Standards (BS1192 and ISO 19650)
• Background in railway, transportation, or construction is ideal
