BIM Modeler Lead

Responsibilities

• Perform layout and input of marked‐up drawings into Revit in accordance with EC Standards
• Setup Revit views, electronic document filing, and model facets for the project team
• Prepare and transmit document sets to other parties
• Manage Revit work sets and work sharing processes
• Manipulate Revit families, views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, and filters
• Coordinate 3D models with other trades and work with field supervision for pre-fabrication drawings
• Lead Virtual Construction teams or coordinate laser scanning vendors
• Train modelers in Autodesk Suite including Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
• Assist in establishing company modeling standards
• Participate in job layout using 3D model data and Total Station equipment

Requirements

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Design Review
• Strong understanding of 3D layout and design principles
• Experience with Revit worksets and worksharing processes
• Experience with 3D coordination across multiple trades and disciplines
• Familiarity with laser scanning technologies and 3D model conversion
• Competency in importing external documents into Revit projects
• Fluency in using plotters, printers, and reproduction systems
