BIM Modeler 2

Responsibilities

• Perform layout and input of marked-up drawings into Revit in accordance with EC Standards
• Setup of Revit views for use by the EC Project team including electronic document filing
• Prepare copies and help make sets of documents for transmittal to other parties
• Create Revit work sets and manage Revit work sharing processes
• Manipulate Revit families, views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, and filters
• Coordinate 3D models with other trades and work with field supervision for pre-fabrication drawings
• Lead teams or work with vendors to laser scan existing structures and coordinate 3D object models
• Participate in job layout driven by 3D model data using equipment like Total Station
• Import documents such as spreadsheets, photos, and images into Revit projects

Requirements

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, 2D and 3D Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and eVolve
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Prior experience with design/build preferred
• Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and write contracts
• Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, and estimating software (Accubid a plus)
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills
• Knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks and Autodesk Design Review
