BIM Manager

Responsibilities

• Interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules
• Tailor MEP coordination schedules and BIM execution plans to project needs
• Manage FTP sites, models, backgrounds, and weekly uploads
• Lead project kick-offs and MEP coordination meetings with all trades
• Create Revit central models and link design models for background exports
• Model gaps in drawings and scope of work, including soffits and ceiling details
• Review drawings and mark up shop drawings
• Generate RFIs during shop review and coordination processes
• Utilize laser scan data (.rcp, .rcs) for project use
• Lead collaboration sessions with architects and engineers to resolve issues
• Perform clash detection and issue clash reports
• Produce weekly VDC reports, meeting minutes, and schedule updates
• Assist with business development presentations through graphics and animations
• Support and mentor new VDC hires

Requirements

• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, Engineering, or Construction Management
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
• Ability to use Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Competence in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in 3D visualization preparation
• Understanding of construction document sets
• Ability to travel to project sites
• Exceptional communication skills
