BIM Electrical Modeler

Responsibilities

• Create accurate and detailed Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for electrical systems
• Perform clash detection and communicate clash reports to the design team
• Coordinate multiple Revit models and manage MEP coordination
• Prepare design drawings including Lighting, Power, Containments, Lightning Protection, Earthing, and Fire Alarm layouts
• Size cable trays/trunking and manage containment coordination
• Detail schematics and assist engineers with problem-solving and multi-service coordination (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, and Plumbing)

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in electrical drafting within consultant companies
• Expert proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards
• Knowledge of Middle East building codes and standards (LOD 200-500)
• Proficiency in BIM 360

Preferred Qualifications

• Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) certification
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED certification
