BIM Designer - Wet Utilities

Responsibilities

• Support BIM Coordinator and Project Delivery Teams in day-to-day BIM implementation
• Develop 3D/2D dimensional models for drawing preparation, clash reporting, and presentation
• Extract 3D models for clash analysis, schedule review, and quantity surveying
• Coordinate model interfaces with designers and engineers of other disciplines
• Prepare engineering drawings including basic arrangements, layouts, profiles, and sections
• Ensure Project Information Models (PIMs) are delivered according to TIDP, MIDP, and CDE protocols
• Conduct clash detection, visual walkthroughs, and constructability analysis
• Automate modeling processes, data management, and reporting for BIM delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or 3-year Diploma in Engineering
• Minimum 5+ years of experience with Civil 3D
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (2D/3D)
• Expert knowledge of Civil 3D including sub-assemblies composer, pipe networks, and corridors
• Proficiency in Navisworks, Revizto, ACC, and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of BIM codes and standards such as ISO19650, PAS1192-2, and BS1192
• Experience with Common Data Environments (CDE) and Asset Information Model delivery
