BIM Designer

Responsibilities

• Provide civil design (CAD/BIM) support for water group projects, including site layouts and general arrangement drawings.
• Perform pipeline modeling, longitudinal sections, and earthworks design including cut and fill calculations.
• Execute project modeling and detailing services in accordance with client standards and procedures.
• Implement design and drafting systems, standards, and development processes followed by clients.
• Assist in the development of tools and continuous improvement of procedures and standards.
• Participate in project review meetings and ensure the provision of completed, self-verified drawings.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure technical and quality standards are met.

Requirements

• B.E. in Civil Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Diploma in Civil Engineering with 8+ years of experience.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and Autodesk Civil3D.
• Proven experience working and delivering projects within a BIM environment.
• Strong knowledge of wet infrastructure and networks.
• Experience preparing drawings for pipe fittings and connections for various pipeline materials.
• General knowledge of construction techniques and practices.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads, Infraworks, Revit, or 12D.
• Professional accreditation or progress toward achieving it.
