BIM Designer - Roads and Highways

Responsibilities

• Create and manage roads and highways design drawings and Civil 3D BIM models for various infrastructure projects
• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models using industry-standard software
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate design elements into cohesive BIM models
• Ensure all BIM models comply with project requirements, standards, and best practices
• Generate accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates from BIM models
• Assist in the development and implementation of BIM workflows and standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members on BIM-related issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in CAD/BIM specifically for roads and infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and Navisworks
• Strong 3D modelling and visualisation skills
• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure design principles and construction processes
• Familiarity with infrastructure projects in the Middle East region
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk certifications)
• Demonstrated experience in applying BIM standards and best practices
