BIM Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Perform reviews for CAD and BIM models to ensure requirements are met and identify clashes or conflicts
• Chair workshops to present design issues and work with all parties to achieve resolutions
• Prepare detailed reports on CAD engineering design, including site design, building design, and landscaping
• Work closely with engineering and planning staff to resolve complex design issues
• Review contractor proposals and provide technical advice on design elements
• Prepare Technical Scopes of Work for projects managed by design engineers
• Prepare progress reports regarding the BIM scope of work in relation to contract schedules

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
• 8+ years of related professional work experience
• Proficiency in BIM and advanced engineering software
• Strong knowledge of industry practices, regulations, and current technology
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to perform in a lead capacity
