BIM Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Establish BIM-projection routines and enhance model work
• Compile coordination models and manage underlying model data
• Drive the model review process with collision checks and coordination meetings
• Support model managers in preparing discipline-specific model documentation
• Address queries and provide general support for project model work
• Ensure all models and drawings adhere to technical, AFRY, and Client CAD & BIM standards
• Ensure model quality and content accuracy

Requirements

• Qualified degree in civil engineering
• Relevant education in BIM
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Proficiency in CAD/BIM design and coordination tools
• Familiarity with cloud document management systems
• Ability to customize and automate programs and menus for productivity
• Knowledge of international standards and best practices
• Experience using and optimizing CAD & BIM resource libraries
• Strong English communication skills (CEFR B1 minimum)
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with projects associated with the Swedish Transport Administration
• Experience working on projects in the Nordics
• Experience with Bentley systems (Microstation, OpenRoads, ProjectWise)
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, BIM 360/ACC, and iTwin Applications
