Billing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage order-to-cash operations, including creating and managing one-time and recurring invoices
• Maintain accurate customer data and client accounts within Salesforce and NetSuite
• Audit sales opportunities for accuracy and compliance to ensure seamless order fulfillment
• Resolve billing discrepancies, manage customer credits, and process refunds
• Partner with Sales, Accounting, and Client Care teams to resolve process breakdowns
• Investigate past-due balances and support customer payment setups
• Contribute to process documentation (SOPs) and participate in testing new tools or workflows

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a client-facing billing, order management, or financial operations role
• Strong understanding of order-to-cash workflows and customer lifecycle operations
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with comfort interpreting financial data
• Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative, customer-first mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar CRM/ERP systems
• Proven success in billing, collections, or sales support environments
• Experience participating in process improvement or system enhancement projects
