Billing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage credit and debit processes for EG&SP customers, including invoicing for credits and rebills
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify and resolve complex billing issues
• Partner with the customer solutions team to provide timely resolutions to customer inquiries
• Complete monthly close reconciliations to ensure all orders are processed timely
• Collaborate with plant managers, logistics, and customer solutions to identify and resolve obstacles in the billing process
• Manage the cylinder buyback program by tracking returns, calculating credits, and recording data in SAP
• Monitor customer purchase orders and complete required monthly reporting

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing, finance, or accounting
• Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA
• Proficiency with Independent Shipping Software
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and Windows
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities
