Billing Services Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Collect all money due at the time of service
• Convert referrals into evaluations and schedule patient visits
• Manage clinic schedule, document routing, and deposits
• Monitor clinic inventory and manage non-clinical documentation
• Research, track, and resolve unpaid, denied, or pending insurance claims
• Provide excellent customer service and create an inviting clinic atmosphere
• Manage caseload, discharge candidates, progress notes, and insurance reporting

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience (3 years preferred) in Revenue Cycle, Medicare, and Commercial Insurance
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and medical billing software
• Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance reimbursement
• Ability to multitask and work with little to no supervision
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for negotiating with payers and patients
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
