Billing Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily customer billing to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Accounting, Legal, and IT to resolve billing inquiries and ensure contract alignment
• Contribute to annual audit readiness by reinforcing compliance and strengthening internal controls
• Identify and implement process improvements to scale and optimize billing operations

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting and/or Finance
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior billing experience within a SaaS or subscription-based business model
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP/billing platforms
• Experience working with large datasets and performing complex reconciliations
• Demonstrated ability to perform root-cause analysis and implement operational improvements
• Experience supporting month-end close and annual audit processes
