Billing Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB) operations, including claim generation, validation, and submission.
• Oversee Medicare Direct Data Entry (DDE) activities, including claim corrections, status reviews, and RTP resolution.
• Lead Medicare Accounts Receivable (AR) management to reduce aging, resolve denials, and recover underpayments.
• Monitor billing work queues, productivity standards, and clean claim rates.
• Identify denial and AR trends and implement corrective action plans to minimize revenue leakage.
• Coordinate with Coding, Revenue Integrity, and Clinical departments to resolve complex billing issues.
• Ensure strict compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare billing operations.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing billing or accounts receivable teams.
• Extensive experience with both Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB).
• Strong expertise in Medicare billing, AR management, and Medicare DDE.
• Proficiency with UB-04 and CMS-1500 claim processing.
• Hands-on experience with Epic Resolute HB/PB.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
