About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of approximately 12 Billing Specialists
- Perform annual performance evaluations and assist with training new team members
- Provide daily guidance and issue resolution for the billing team
- Distribute monthly reports regarding unresolved eBilling items and ensure timely resolution
- Perform audits of Firm invoices to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Analyze issues and collaborate with the Senior Billing Manager to implement process improvements
- Assist attorneys and legal assistants with client inquiries and reporting requests
- Manage special projects and coordinate between team members to ensure completion
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Proven experience in law firm administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and time-management skills
