Billing Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Handle billing inquiries, process payments, and assist with portal navigation via phone, text chat, and email
• Provide high-quality customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center environment
• Analyze information to solve problems and make appropriate decisions regarding client requests
• Utilize basic mathematical skills to perform calculations such as percentages, addition, and subtraction
• Navigate multiple systems and applications efficiently to research and resolve inquiries
• Maintain productivity, service, and quality standards while complying with corporate and regulatory policies
• Collaborate with team members and business partners to ensure a quality experience for agency partners
• Cross-sell products to provide the most beneficial experience for clients

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of customer service experience
• Experience working in a high-volume call center environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multi-application navigation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic mathematical calculation skills
• Ability to work a 40-hour week on a scheduled shift, including rotational Saturday hours

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree or currently pursuing a degree
• Proven track record of managing competing demands and high decision velocity
