Billing Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customers by handling billing inquiries, taking payments, and assisting with portal navigation.
• Provide excellent customer service via incoming telephone calls, text chats, and email in a high-volume contact center environment.
• Analyze information to make appropriate decisions and solve problems while maintaining a professional phone experience.
• Efficiently navigate multiple systems and applications to research and resolve customer requests and concerns.
• Maintain established levels of productivity, service, and quality standards.
• Comply with corporate policies, regulatory standards (SOX), and business processes (PCI).
• Cross-sell products to provide the most beneficial experience for clients.
• Work a flexible schedule, including potential overtime and rotational Saturday shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multi-application navigation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic mathematical calculation skills (addition, subtraction, and percentages).
• Ability to work 40 hours a week on a scheduled shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume client contact call center.
• College degree or currently pursuing a degree.
• Proven track record of managing competing demands and high decision velocity.
