About the role
Responsibilities
- Use bookkeeping databases, spreadsheets, and software
- Post financial transactions using QuickBooks
- Receive and record checks and ACH payments
- Produce a variety of reports
- Reconcile, report, and research billing discrepancies
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
- Perform daily entry of key transaction data
- Perform basic office tasks including answering phones, responding to emails, and processing mail
- Record, process, and file forms
- Send invoices to customers to request payment
- Use documents to verify, record, and process transactions
Requirements
- Proven accounting experience, preferably in Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Competency in MS Office Excel
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
- Aptitude for numbers
- Ability to accurately and efficiently analyze data
