Billing Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue client invoices, credits, and adjustments accurately and timely
• Collaborate with various branches to ensure all billable goods and services are captured
• Maintain the billing system and organize all related documentation for easy access
• Resolve billing inquiries and issues by working closely with internal teams and customers
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to streamline billing processes
• Reconcile error reports and monitor data integrity between internal and external systems
• Manage the onboarding of new clients and oversee invoice submissions from start to finish
• Monitor billing inboxes to ensure timely responses to customer requests
• Support month-end close activities and ensure compliance with internal policies and audits

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a billing or accounts receivable role
• Proficiency with large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards
• Intermediate MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and the full AR cycle
• Familiarity with Proof of Delivery (POD) and Bills of Lading (BOL)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingualism in English and French
• Experience with EDI, e-billing, or third-party submissions
• Experience with medical or government billing
