Billing & Collections Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Manager, Billing & Collections including cash receipts and invoice reconciliations
• Perform cash collections for all invoices
• Create and input accounts receivable invoices into the accounting system
• Identify invoice discrepancies and resolve issues with sponsorship sales teams and agencies
• Maintain a credit application process for potential new agencies and advertisers
• Prepare monthly accounts receivable aging reports
• Assist with financial statement audits and communicate with outside audit teams

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Bachelor's or Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with General Ledger systems such as Oracle Fusion
• Experience with traffic systems such as Broadway
