Billing Clerk

Responsibilities

• Generate, issue, and distribute client invoices with accuracy and adherence to timelines
• Reconcile customer accounts and client jobs, resolve discrepancies, and investigate unapplied payments
• Open and close client accounts/jobs and prepare time and cost estimates
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures for accounts receivable
• Manage internal relationships and maintain communication with account and meetings teams
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Foundational understanding of accounting principles (double-entry, accrual, cash basis)
• Proficiency in MS Excel including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and advanced formulas
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, Sage, Advantage) preferred
• High integrity and discretion with sensitive financial information
