Billing Analyst

Responsibilities

• Review and resolve post-sales customer disputes by acting as a liaison between external customers and internal stakeholders.
• Validate contract rates against generated invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Calculate adjustments, including credit memos, generate rebills, and ensure all adjustments are properly booked.
• Participate in customer account reconciliation projects and complete quarter-end close activities.
• Assist with deal desk reviews of sales opportunities, contracts, and non-standard transactions.
• Support managers in performing internal control procedures to ensure SOX compliance.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for special projects to drive system or process enhancements.

Requirements

• Fluency in both English and German.
• Proven experience in Billing and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations.
• 1-2 years of experience in customer-facing dispute resolution.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of revenue accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical skills for data mining and managing high-volume transactions.
• Ability to work on-site at our Bulgaria office 4 days a week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment.
• Proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC) and NetSuite.
