Billing Analyst

Responsibilities

• Calculate and validate the Weighted Average Cost of Energy (WACOE) for customers, averaging 25-30 files per day
• Review customer contracts to ensure accurate setup of deal structures and pricing parameters
• Utilize advanced Excel functions and formulas to analyze large datasets and validate billing settlement details
• Identify and troubleshoot erroneous or missing data by collaborating with IT, Front-Office, and Mid-Office teams
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly billing reports to ensure accurate and timely settlement validation
• Provide high-level customer service by responding to inquiries and participating in call center duties
• Assist in training new employees and improving billing process efficiencies

Requirements

• College degree
• 3 years of office experience preferred (or a combination of college education and work experience)
• Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with shortcuts, functions, and formulas
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work extended hours to meet market requirements
• Proficiency in data entry and organizing Outlook settings
