Billing Analyst

Responsibilities

• Validate invoices and resolve billing exceptions for Community Choice Aggregator (CCA) customers
• Review customer records in the billing database to ensure accurate parameter setup and jurisdiction
• Correspond daily with local utilities regarding billing inquiries and provide updates to CCA clients
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly billing processes, including reviewing payments and cash receipts
• Log tasks and exceptions appropriately to meet audit requirements
• Facilitate the timely resolution of customer inquiries and support the Account Team with client service items
• Maintain proficiency in CCA program nuances and provide feedback on current processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or a related discipline
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, data entry, and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing business needs

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of work experience in CCA or a related field
• Bilingual skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Nexant Revenue Manager
• Strong negotiation skills, diplomacy, and tact
