About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted recruiting strategies for aerospace and defense engineering roles, including systems, avionics, mechanical, and software.
  • Source, screen, and engage candidates in both French and English to provide a high-touch, consultative experience.
  • Partner with hiring managers and program leads to understand technical requirements and project timelines.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines using advanced sourcing techniques like Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and X-ray.
  • Provide market intelligence regarding talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and competitor activity.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from initial intake through offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with hiring standards and DEI best practices.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, specifically focused on engineering roles.
  • Proven expertise recruiting within the Aerospace, Defense, or highly regulated engineering sectors.
  • Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken) is required.
  • Strong technical understanding of engineering disciplines such as systems, avionics, embedded systems, or mechanical design.
  • Advanced sourcing capabilities and experience with competitor mapping and passive candidate engagement.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze recruiting metrics like pipeline health and time-to-fill.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting US or cross-border (US/Canada) hiring.
  • Familiarity with security clearance processes or compliance-heavy environments.
  • Previous experience in engineering services or consulting organizations.
