Bilingual (Spanish/English) EMT-P

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including medical history interviews, physical examinations, and blood testing reviews.
• Manage donor adverse events and evaluate reactions according to established SOPs.
• Support medical emergencies and coordinate donor transport to emergency care facilities when necessary.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings in coordination with the Center Physician.
• Support employee vaccination programs and manage workplace incidents in alignment with EHS guidance.
• Provide center-level support for environmental, health, and safety (EHS) protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current EMT-Paramedic license or certification in the state of assignment.
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification.
• Certification in basic IV therapy as required by state licensure.
• Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
